Today I worked on my articles and as often happens I was inspired to write an article. I am usually moved while rating (proofing) the articles of my fellow writers, and usually by the spiritual articles. I do have a specific call to write 🙂
Anyway, I thought I’d share my article here, and maybe introduce you all to helium by way of my work. Please enjoy …
Reflections: God‘s Love
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
“God is love.” 1 John 4:8
How does one reflect upon God’s love?
To say that God loves his children reduces that love to our flawed and limited human understanding, and God is so much more than the sum of our understanding. His love for us is unfathomable, yet we can see it in our day to day lives, if only we could step out of our understanding and know that all of what we see was for us.
The two scriptures provided give a sense of how God loves. They speak directly to who God is and His character. But what if a person doesn’t know about God and Jesus and what they did for them? How do these scriptures help a person to understand the depth of God’s love?
